Configuring SSL on your WebDAV Server Running in IIS

Here we will describe how to create a self-signed certificate and setup it on your WebDAV server website.

To create a self-signed certificate select the server node in IIS Manager and double-click Server Certificates

Select the server node in IIS Manager and double-click Server Certificates

Select Create Self-signed certificate.

Click on Create Self-signed certificate

Enter the certificate name in the Create Self-signed Certificate dialog and click OK:

Enter the certificate name and click OK

Now select the website node on which you will setup SSL and select Bindings in the right panel:

Click on Bindings

Select Add in the Site Bindings dialog. Select HTTPS in the Type field. Select the certificate that you have created in the SSL certificate field:

Click OK. Close the Site Bindings dialog.
