IT Hit AJAX File Browser System Requirements

IT Hit AJAX File Browser runs in the following web browsers:

  • Internet Explorer 6 or later
  • Mozilla Firefox 2 or later
  • Safari 3.0.4 or later
  • Google Chrome 0.3.154.9 or later

 

Upload capabilities depends on the user agent that you are using. Currently only Safari, Chrome and Firefox support upload to any WebDAV server. To upload files in other browsers WebDAV server with POST-upload support is required.

The table below shows file upload support in various browsers:

As user agents are rapidly developing check beck to see if new browsers are supported.

 

To create and open for editing Microsoft Office documents WebDAV server must be located on site root and must support Class 2. This feature is available Internet Explorer IE 7 only and requires Microsoft Office 2007 to be installed on a client computer more.
