We have completely redesigned IT Hit Map WebDAV Drive to improve performance and provide means for localization, rebranding and integration with your software.
Localization and Rebranding Support
Now you can fully localize entire user interface using only a text or XML editor and build installation packet with a single click! With the release version we provide a Wix project that creates installation program exactly like the one you can download from our website. You can adapt this project to your needs or integrate Map WebDAV Drive merge module to your own install application. You can add more languages to your install, fully replace all graphic images and even customize user interface to some extension. You can also remove unnecessary or rarely used WebDAV commands from Windows Explorer to simplify your customized version.
Windows Integration Authentication Support
The Map WebDAV Drive provides much better support for servers running NTLM and Kerberos authentication. There is no more need to enter user credentials as Map WebDAV Drive can now reuse credentials of the user accessing the drive. The upload to servers that use NTLM or Kerberos now can be done in the unbuffered mode.
Drive Events
The mounted drive now generates events that you can consume to run your custom application and perform actions before creating or updating file content on server. The new SDK contains sample application that displays dialog for entering file description before file creation.
Improved Windows Explorer Integration
In the new version we provide deep integration with windows shell to avoid automatic downloads of exe files. The status of the file is now displayed over the file icon as well as now you can lock/unlock and check-out/check-in files in all subdirectories with a single click.
